HICKORY RUN LEHIGH RIVER HIKE

Meeting Location: Hickory Run State Park Office: https://goo.gl/maps/6VOov

Nestled in the western foothills of the Pocono Mountains, Hickory Run State Park offers a wilderness escape in your backyard with awesome snowshoeing trails.

Join VTS on this snowshoe excursion as we take switchbacks up to a plateau, meander through a forest of beech, gray birch, pitch pine and deciduous woods and fields.

We will enjoy picturesque overlooks of the mighty Lehigh River and Lehigh Gorge State Park.

Thick rhododendrons and large birch trees shadow large portions of the last trail.
